Paulina Morales Ruiz
Paulina was born in Santiago of Chile, in 1986. Since she was a little child, Paulina was interested in animals, environmental matters and a compassive-vegetarian way of life. Moreover, subjects as the human relationships and the connection with the Divine always drew her attention.
She completed her studies in Psychology in the University of Chile. Along her degree, she shown a strong interest towards Clinical Psychology, specially focused in health-illness processes, and families, children and parenthood. At that time she found Biodanza, one of her biggest pleassures, that later on she recovered overseas. She also started her path in Yoga, meditation and Psychodrama.
In 2011, she felt the need to come out of her comfort zone, and to search for herself. She headed to New Zealand with her partner, country where she spent 1 year learning about the abundance of Life and Nature. She developed many skills, working in several fields other than her original degree. She realized that many ways of living the life were possible, different from the life she used to have when she was living in her city. Afterwards, she travelled to Australia, country where she met many Hare Krshna devotees that became her family far from home. She also learnt about Permaculture, spending a season in the farm of the creator of this paradigm, Bill Mollison, and some time with several families that had their own organic gardens and farms.
Along the trip that she did with her partner, Paulina met many wonderful people from who she learnt from. Families and parenthood became an even stronger area of interest, deepening her studies about natural ways of rising children. She joined to the Australian Breastfeeding Association, where she volunteered and worked. That brought her the opportunity to get nourished from many people with similar interests, but more life experienced than her.
In 2013, she travelled to India. In this country, she deepened her knowledge about Yoga, Ayurveda and meditation. She found many mentors that kindly taught her about this ancient knowledge, and discovered the contrast of this fascinating country.
In 2014, she became the co-founder of Samhita Academy, as a space for sharing, learning, teaching and practicing a spiritual path of compassion, love and joy.
